Accepting this agreement

RapZap lives at rapzap.app. Throughout this page, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to its operator, whose details appear in the contact block below. The moment you upload a photo, pay for credits or start a video, you are agreeing to this page plus three companion documents: the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Refund Policy.

Buying credits or making a video requires you to have reached the age at which local law lets you sign a binding contract.

What each template produces

RapZap has no prompt box and no model settings. Each video is built from one of five fixed templates, described below.

  • Hotel Lobby AI takes two photos, one for each performer, and an AI video model turns them into a 15-second, 720p, 16:9 landscape clip inside an orange booth where a mic hangs from above. Photo 1’s person raps and Photo 2’s person dances. You get a silent file; the rapper’s lips follow the opening of the TikTok sound “HOTEL LOBBY (Unc & Phew) - - A COLORS SHOW”, and attaching that sound when you post is up to you. We neither use footage of the original performance nor recreate the original performers’ likeness.
  • Bulin 47 AI takes a single photo, of yourself or of a consenting adult, and AI models turn it into a 12-second, 720p, 9:16 vertical clip. In a night scene washed in red light, that person spits a street freestyle synced to the verse from the viral Bulin 47 freestyle, while a friend carrying a speaker answers. We built this scene with AI ourselves: it borrows no frame of the source footage and features no one from the source clip. The file is silent, the original sound is not in it, and you attach the audio at posting time.
  • The zombie couple video takes two photos of consenting adults. Photo 1’s person is cast as the zombie and Photo 2’s person as the survivor. AI models produce a 15-second, 720p, 9:16 vertical clip: in a rain-soaked ruin of a street, the survivor slowly drops a rifle that is never fired, the zombie leaps into an embrace, and then the edit snaps to a golden-hued memory of the pair. Unlike the other templates, it ships with audio, namely ambient sound and an original instrumental score composed for this service. It shows no gore and reuses no footage from any other video.
  • Rumpelstiltskin AI accepts one photo or two, showing you or consenting adults. Photo 1 becomes the little man creeping in for a cheeky tiptoe dance and Photo 2 becomes the startled woman, each dressed in a set costume; if a role gets no photo, a fictional character of ours fills it. AI models return a 15-second, 720p, 16:9 landscape clip shot in a hayloft-style barn with a 1980s movie grade. The cast, framing and cuts are an AI-made homage to a meme that we created, using nothing from the meme itself or from any movie. The file is silent, the song is not in it, and you attach the audio at posting time.
  • Outstanding Tiny Desk AI takes between one and five photos, of yourself or of consenting adults, with one seat per photo. Lead vocals go to Photo 1, keys to Photo 2, backing vocals to Photos 3 and 4, and sax to Photo 5; an unfilled seat is played by a fictional musician of ours. AI models return a 19-second, 720p, 9:16 vertical clip in four shots, staged in an office music set that we generated. Neither the NPR concert nor the meme supplies any footage or audio. The file is silent, the song is not in it, and you attach the audio at posting time.

Generative AI can surprise you. The performer on screen may drift from the person or pet you uploaded, and faces, hair, hands or outfits may change. Turnaround hinges on how busy things are and on our AI provider, which is why no completion time is guaranteed.

Uploading a photo does not transfer any of your rights in it to us. What you give us is a limited licence: we may keep the photo, process it and share it with our AI providers, purely so we can produce your video and operate RapZap, and only within the retention windows set out in the Privacy Policy.

Each time, before generation begins, you confirm two things: that you are entitled to use every photo, and that each person who can be recognised in it has consented. Securing that consent is on you. Ticking the box is your own assurance to us, and it does not mean we have checked anything.

Owning and keeping your clip

Ownership of the videos you generate is not something we claim. You are free to use your clip for any lawful purpose so long as you keep to these terms, honour the rights of everyone who appears in it and obey the rules of the platforms you share it on. Where a platform asks creators to tag AI-generated media, tag it.

Clips stay private: the page for a video, and its download link, load only inside the browser session that generated it. Each finished clip is removed 7 days from the moment it is ready, so keep your own copy of anything you care about.

Paying for a video

  • All five templates (Bulin 47, Hotel Lobby, Outstanding Tiny Desk AI, Rumpelstiltskin AI and the zombie couple video) charge 150 credits per video, and $8.99 USD paid one time gets you 150 credits. Nothing is billed on a schedule and no plan auto-renews.
  • If you buy from the euro area, the price is €8.99 and you are charged in euros. Outside it, the Stripe checkout page may additionally show the dollar amount converted into your own currency.
  • Card payments run through Stripe. At no point do we see or keep your complete card number.
  • Credits cannot be cashed out, resold or handed to another person.
  • RapZap has no accounts. Credits are tied to an anonymous session cookie stored in your browser for 30 days, so if it lapses, gets wiped, or you change browser or device, those credits are gone and we cannot bring them back.
  • Should a generation fail or be blocked after credits were deducted, they are credited back to that same browser session automatically, and only once. Slow is not the same as failed; while a video is still rendering, please hold off on paying a second time.
  • For anything to do with getting money back, see the Refund Policy.

Content rules

The Acceptable Use Policy governs what you upload and create. If we believe it is being breached, if acting protects people or RapZap itself, or if a legal obligation applies, we may turn photos away, cut a generation short or restrict your access.

Independent fan tool: disclaimers per template

RapZap is an AI creation tool that operates on its own. It has no affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship from any original artist, record label, performance channel or social platform. We leave out the original Hotel Lobby recording entirely: the clip you download has no audio, and the trend sound comes from the platform’s own licensed library when you publish.

Our Bulin 47 AI clips are unofficial homages to a trend, made by fans. There is no affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship from Kevin Wai, from Bulin 47 or from any label or platform, and no original recording or footage is in them. Rights holders connected to the trend who have a concern can write to the contact address at the foot of this page; we review such matters quickly.

Our Rumpelstiltskin AI clips are unofficial homages to a meme, made by fans. There is no affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship from RiFF RAFF, from the meme’s creators, from those who produced the 1987 movie Rumpelstiltskin or from any label or platform. The clips contain neither the song nor footage taken from that movie or meme.

Our Outstanding Tiny Desk AI clips are unofficial homages to a meme, made by fans. There is no affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship from Charlie Wilson, from The Gap Band, from NPR or its Tiny Desk Concerts series, from the meme’s creators or from any label or platform. The clips contain neither the song nor footage taken from that concert or meme.

When things change

RapZap, its templates, its AI provider and its price can all be altered, paused or retired by us at any point. Payments you have already completed are never affected by a later price change. These terms may be updated as well; the date shown at the top identifies the live version, and whichever version was live when you started a given video is the one that governs it.

No warranty, and a cap on liability

RapZap comes “as is” and “as available”. Within the limits of the law, the only promises we make are the ones set out on this page, and the most we can owe you across all claims relating to RapZap is the sum you paid us during the 30 days leading up to the claim. This clause leaves untouched any consumer right that the law treats as impossible to sign away.

Applicable law and resolving disagreements

People’s Republic of China law governs this agreement, and by that we mean the law in force in mainland China, excluding the separate legal systems of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Should a problem come up, reach out to us before anything else, and we will try to settle it informally. Failing that, the disagreement goes before a court that has jurisdiction in mainland China.

Any mandatory consumer protection that cannot be overridden by contract still applies to you regardless of this section.
