Acceptable Use Policy
The consent rule
Each RapZap clip puts a real person’s face on stage, so all five templates share one baseline: the photos show you, or people who have plainly told you they are happy to appear in a Hotel Lobby AI clip, a Bulin 47 AI clip, a zombie couple clip, a Rumpelstiltskin AI clip or an Outstanding Tiny Desk AI clip.
- Pictures pulled from the internet, snapped without the subject’s say-so, or owned by somebody else are off limits.
- Your pets and characters you invented yourself are welcome. Characters, mascots or logos that belong to others are not.
Extra rules for particular templates
- Bulin 47 AI: the photo has to show you or a consenting adult. It may not be used to drop famous people into the freestyle, whether footballers, politicians or any other public figure.
- Zombie couple: each person must be an adult who said yes to appearing, the zombie role included. Using it to scare, ridicule or humiliate a person who never agreed is not allowed.
- Rumpelstiltskin AI: photos must show you or consenting adults, and their consent must cover the character they are cast as. Putting famous people, public figures or children in the barn, or scaring or ridiculing a person who never agreed, is not allowed.
- Outstanding Tiny Desk AI: this applies seat by seat, so everybody on screen has to be a consenting adult. Famous people, athletes, coaches and other public figures are excluded, even though the original meme used them.
Banned outright
- Any person younger than 18.
- Public figures of any kind, including famous people and politicians, and anyone you are attempting to impersonate.
- Nudity, sexual content or sexually suggestive imagery, in any form.
- Material aimed at harassing, bullying, humiliating, threatening or intimidating someone.
- Hate that targets someone for their identity.
- Impersonation meant to deceive, invented endorsements, scams, false information, or anything built to make viewers think a real event happened.
- Violent, graphic or unlawful material, or anything that violates another person’s rights.
- Any effort to crash, flood or scrape RapZap, or to dodge its limits or security measures.
After you download
Wherever you publish, play by that platform’s rules, among them any requirement to tag AI-generated media. Do not pass the clip off as genuine footage, nor as a release from the original artists.
Each clip carries an AI-generated label inside its file metadata. Do not strip it out.
How the rules are applied
Every job is screened by safety filters at our AI provider, and those filters turn away or block things like sexual material and widely recognised public figures. Reports and takedown requests are read and handled by a person, and depending on what we find we may refuse photos, end a generation, cut off access or, where legally required, report unlawful material. No filter is perfect, and a ticked permission box does not mean anyone at RapZap has vetted your photos; what you upload remains your responsibility.
When a generation gets blocked after credits were deducted, those credits are restored automatically, one time, as set out in the Refund Policy. Serious misuse, or misuse that keeps happening, can result in limited access.
Flagging a clip or a rights issue
If a clip made on RapZap appears to use your likeness without consent, seems to break the rules above, or you own rights in a trend or recording mentioned on this site, write to the contact address below and explain what you saw. We act on takedown requests quickly.
