Migos AI: Put Two Friends in the Rap Duo Booth
Migos AI, Quavo AI or Hotel Lobby AI: one format, many names
Ask ten people what this clip is called and you will hear five answers. Some reach for the group (Migos AI), some for one rapper (Quavo AI, Quavo and Takeoff AI), some for the song (Hotel Lobby AI), and some just describe the picture: an orange booth, a rap duo, two heads under one mic. Every one of those searches points at the same two-person AI rap video, so a Migos AI generator and a Hotel Lobby AI generator are doing identical work.
That matters when you shop around. If one site sells a “Migos AI” template and another sells “Hotel Lobby AI”, compare the output, the price and the privacy terms, not the label on the button.
| What people type | The origin of that name |
|---|---|
| Migos AI | The Atlanta rap group that Quavo and Takeoff belonged to |
| Quavo AI / Quavo and Takeoff AI | Named after the pair of rappers seen in the 2022 performance |
| Hotel Lobby AI | The song itself, “HOTEL LOBBY (Unc & Phew)” |
| Rap duo AI | The shape of the clip: a pair performing side by side |
| Orange booth video | The look of the set, described in plain words |
Where the Migos AI name comes from
Migos started in the Atlanta suburbs as a trio made up of Quavo, Offset and Takeoff. Takeoff was Quavo’s nephew, and as a duo the two went by Unc & Phew, short for uncle and nephew. In June 2022 the two of them performed “HOTEL LOBBY” on A COLORS SHOW, the YouTube series known for its single-color sets. That orange set, with one microphone hanging between two performers, is the stage every AI version copies.
When AI remakes of the performance began circulating, plenty of viewers knew the faces before they knew the track. They typed the group name into search, and “Migos AI” stuck as one of the most common labels for the format, although the booth only ever held two of the group’s three members.
What makes the rap duo format work
A good duo clip runs on contrast. One performer owns the mic and delivers the verse; the other stands beside them, nodding, swaying and hyping every line. The set never changes, so all the comedy and charm come from who you cast in each spot. A shy coworker on the mic next to a dancing grandparent tells a story in one glance, and all it took was two photos.
The format is also short and landscape, which makes it easy to watch on any screen and quick to loop. Viewers recognize the orange booth within a second, so your caption only has to explain the pairing, not the scene.
Real Migos AI style clips from our pipeline
Every clip below started life as a pair of photos showing fictional people or pets, never customers. The model placed both subjects in the booth, left each on the same side as its upload slot, and animated the left performer rapping at the mic while the right performer danced. The files are silent: the mouth movement is timed to the trend sound, which you attach when you post.

Make your own Migos AI clip from two photos in four steps
Choose two sharp photos
Grab one picture per performer. Each should hold a single person or pet, face visible and evenly lit. JPEG, PNG or WebP uploads are fine, as long as each stays under 10 MB.
Load them into the generator
Whatever you put in Photo 1 lands on the left, and Photo 2 lands on the right. Tap Swap performers to reverse the pair, then tick the box saying you have permission for both photos.
Render and pay one time
Tap Make My Hotel Lobby Video. Without credits on your balance, you first pay $8.99 through Stripe checkout. The AI then sets up the orange booth, and a status page tracks every real stage.
Save the MP4 and share
Play back your 15-second clip and download the file. We hold it for 7 days only, so keep your own copy before posting to TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
What one Migos AI video includes
- One 15-second 16:9 landscape MP4 at 720p.
- Photo 1 on the left at the mic and Photo 2 on the right, both inside the orange booth.
- No audio is baked in: the clip is silent, and the rapper’s mouth is timed to the TikTok sound “HOTEL LOBBY (Unc & Phew) - - A COLORS SHOW”. Pick that sound when you post, and if the words drift, slide the sound’s start point in TikTok’s editor. The track itself never goes into your file.
- A single payment of $8.99 for one video. No subscription, no sign-up. If your render fails, RapZap puts the 150 credits back in your balance automatically, once, so you can run another take.
- Your uploaded photos are erased within 24 hours of the job finishing or failing, and the finished video stays downloadable for 7 days.
Cast yourself, not the artists
The fun of the trend is seeing people you know in a famous setting. Keep it that way: upload photos of yourself and of friends or family who said yes, and skip pictures of the artists or any other public figure. Takeoff was killed in November 2022, and a number of fans have pushed back on AI clips that recreate his face. A Migos AI clip of you and your best friend sidesteps that entirely, and it is far more likely to get your group chat laughing.
Pets are welcome too. A clear photo of a dog or cat can take either spot, though animal results are experimental and less predictable than human ones.
More rap styles on RapZap
The orange booth is built for two. If you want a solo moment instead, RapZap also offers a Bulin 47 freestyle: one photo becomes a short vertical verse with you alone on the mic. Both templates use the same one-time price and the same privacy rules, and our AI rap video generator page lists every style side by side, including the zombie love story and the tiptoe meme.

Posting your Migos AI clip
The download is already cut to the right length and frame for the trend, so you can post it straight away. A few habits help it travel and keep you within each platform’s rules:
- Set up the pairing in the caption: who is on the mic, who is dancing, and why they ended up in the booth.
- Pull the song from the app’s own licensed sound library rather than uploading an audio file you found elsewhere.
- Turn on the AI-generated label. TikTok asks creators to mark realistic AI content, and Instagram and YouTube offer similar toggles.
- Tag the friend who appears in the clip. That way they spot it early and can ask you to remove it if they feel differently.
Getting a sharper result
- Give each performer a front-facing photo where the face takes up a good share of the frame.
- Choose two photos with similar light, so the duo looks like it was filmed in one room.
- Decide who raps before you upload. The first photo always lands on the mic side.
- For pets, shoot at eye level in daylight. A sharp, bright image matters more than a cute pose.
Common questions
What does Migos AI mean?
Migos AI is a popular nickname given to the Hotel Lobby AI trend: AI drops a pair of people or pets into an orange booth beneath one hanging mic, echoing the orange-set performance Quavo and Takeoff gave on A COLORS SHOW in 2022.
What are the steps to create a Migos AI clip?
Open the Hotel Lobby AI generator on RapZap, add one photo per performer, confirm you have permission to use both, and pay $8.99 once. You receive a 15-second 16:9 landscape MP4 at 720p.
Does a Migos AI video include the original song?
No. The download is silent. The mouth of the performer on the mic is timed to the TikTok sound “HOTEL LOBBY (Unc & Phew) - - A COLORS SHOW”, so you pick that sound from TikTok’s library while posting.
Can my dog or cat be in a Migos AI video?
Yes. Use one clear photo per animal, or pair a picture of yourself with your pet. Animal results are still experimental and can drift further from the real animal than people do.
Why is it called Migos AI when only two members appear?
Quavo and Takeoff, the two rappers in the 2022 performance, were both members of Migos. Lots of viewers knew their faces before they knew the track, and typed the group name into search instead.
Is RapZap connected to Migos?
No. RapZap is an independent service with no affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship from Migos, Quavo, Takeoff, their record labels or A COLORS SHOW.

No artist, record label, music show, NPR, COLORS, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or other brand named on these pages has partnered with, approved or paid for RapZap.
